Alexis Strum is an actress, writer and public speaker from London with natural wit and excellent comic timing. She particularly enjoys playing strong and feisty characters!

She has appeared as 'Sarah The Brass' in BBC's One's 'Wannabe', brought to you by the award-winning team behind 'People Just Do Nothing', as well as ITV's 'Timewasters' and Sky's 'Sick Note'.


Soon to be released is Alexis's featured role in the British/Kosovan motion picture, 'The Field Of Blackbirds' by the Oscar nominated production team behind, 'Shok'.

Alexis's other notable screen credits include: 'Little Big Men' for Channel 4, 'Autopsy: The Last Days Of' for ITV, pilots for BBC3 and Channel 4, online sketches for Hat Trick, several short films, a lead role in the world's first iPhone drama, 'Persona' and leads in commercials for Domino's, M&S, John Lewis, Mikado, Schweppes, The Fragrance Store and Niquitin. Stage credits include: 'Before And After' at The Arcola, ‘Over The Rainbow’ the musical national tour with Maureen Nolan, the lead in ‘Snow White’ at Dunstable Grove Theatre and a rather terrifying Lady Macbeth for British Touring Shakespeare.


Alexis also appeared as US businesswoman 'Vicky' in 'Bad Mother', Mumsnet's first ever online comedy series, written by Susie Gilmour and directed by Matt Winn. Alexis performs stand-up comedy and films sketches in character as ‘Denise’ (TheDeniseChannel) the idiotic Aussie wannabe, one of which co-stars Sue Holderness from ‘Only Fools And Horses' and was featured on The Huffington Post, nominated for a British Comedy Guide Best Internet Comedy Programme Award and shortlisted for a Funny Women Comedy Shorts Award. Denise has performed alongside the likes of Jarred Christmas, James Acaster, Angela Barnes etc. Competitions: Finalist in Colchester New Comedian Of The Year, Semi-Finalist in The Funny Women Stand-Up Awards, Semi-Finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian Of The Year & shortlisted for 'So You Think You Are Funny'. Formerly a recording artist with Warner and Mercury records and a songwriter with Warner Chappell for Kylie Minogue, Rachel Stevens, Wonderland, etc, Alexis has a strong presence on the web; her various music videos total over a million hits online and her career spans an impressive 17 years (even though she is still barely a foetus!)...During her music career, she found time to write for TV soundtracks such as, ‘The Inbetweeners’, ITV’s ‘Vital Signs’ and MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’. As a recording artist, Alexis had some brilliant career highlights including singing on a track for Robbie Williams, singing BVs on recordings for Gary Barlow, Rachel Stevens, Wonderland and Kylie Minogue, performing at both the V and SXSW Festival, doing  acoustic slots on Radio 2 and nearly killing a member of S Club 7. Now she sings 'Twinkle Twinkle' with her daughter every day!
